The best way to succeed in relationships is to know how to master relationship with yourself.

Life and people can pull us away from ourselves without us even noticing. Sometimes it’s exhausting, or it can feel like taking a break from our daily routine. Taking such a break is great, as long as you stay mindful of your time. When our focus is off, we can drift and accomplish nothing. Is that really what we want?

We all need to take care of ourselves—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. In my 20 years as a healer, treating patients on all these levels, I’ve noticed that if one area is off, it impacts other areas of our life. It can affect our relationships with spouses, children, parents, friends, and colleagues. Sometimes, when our business isn’t going well, our energy levels start to drop.

One of the things I like to do is take time for myself to meditate, sit on the beach, walk in the park, and connect with nature. Exercising, sleeping, eating healthily, or engaging in hobbies with like-minded friends can relieve stress. (Make sure you surround yourself with supportive and positive people who truly want the best for you.)

I love journaling because it helps me understand, address, and acknowledge how I feel and why. Just by doing that, we can shift our energy to a higher level that lifts us up. Sometimes, we even receive clear messages and guidance from within.

Remember, taking care of yourself is not selfish—it’s essential for being able to show up fully for others in your life. If you ever feel overwhelmed, don’t hesitate to seek help from a professional like a healer or coach.

The more you know yourself, the better relationships you develop with yourself and others, and the more you enjoy your job, your environment, and your life.

It’s in your hands. If not, I am here to guide and support you.

Yours,

Rivka
